
Be respectful of your decision-makers’ time. Approving a policy demands their review, thought, discussion, and enquiry before making a decision.
Policies are approved faster when they omit statements that don’t need approval. Mixed statements, as in the example above, are best split apart so that the decision-maker can concentrate on the decision itself.
