SMS messages are always tricky because of the character limit.
You try to strike a balance between brevity and clarity, and often need to resort to abbreviations and sometimes cryptic phrasing. But there’s no excuse for being rude to customers!
This example arrived on my phone from a local medical clinic. I’ve offered just one of many possible wordings that communicate the rule just as strictly but less offensively, and I managed to do it with fewer characters!
TOO MANY UPPERCASE LETTERS don’t help, by the way.
